Who are your hosts?

At Koalas' Nest, you’ll be greeted by the unforgettable duo, Zeljko and Gordana — or as their family affectionately calls them — “two Koalas” (you’ll find out why the nick name if they befriend you!). 

Their hospitality goes far beyond a warm welcome — read what other guests said in Testimonials and you'll know why. Zeljko might chat to you in German or Italian, Gordana will win you over with her sense of humour and expressive way of making sure you understand her, even without speaking your language. Together, they treat guests to delicious homemade pancakes and offer a taste of local spirits, making you feel like part of the family.  Sometimes their son Sonny, whose English is better than Zeljko or Gordana's (even though they ambitiously installed an English learning app 😊), will also lend a hand in welcoming guests — in person or over the phone/email.
